What is AllianceQ?
AllianceQ is a group of industry-leading Fortune 500 companies that have collaborated to build a free, exclusive and continually growing pool of job candidates to drive down their cost of recruiting and give candidates inside access to more opportunities.
Why was AllianceQ formed?
Leading American companies are spending billions of dollars every year to reach relevant, qualified candidates, but hire only 1½ percent of their applicants. And, the situation is likely to worsen. Recruitment spending is expected to increase from $58 billion in 2008 to $73 billion in 2012. These investments offer little return, since companies must continually invest in efforts to attract candidates. AllianceQ will drive down recruiting costs by pooling job candidates, giving each member company access to more talent, and giving job candidates inside access to more opportunities.

Absolutely. The purpose of the Alliance is to aggregate and leverage the brand power of the Alliance members, so they each get access to more job candidates. It's beneficial for AllianceQ members and their competitors to join the Alliance, along with other large businesses in and around the communities where they operate, to get the best pool of job candidates.
If a company joins AllianceQ and its biggest competitor does not, can the competitor access the Alliance's job candidates?
No. Only large organizations with more than 5,000 employees that are Alliance members can access the database, so large companies that do not join the Alliance are not able to benefit from it. And, only members can invite 'non-hired' job seekers to join the Alliance. They must contribute 'supply' in order to 'consume'.
Can Recruitment Agencies access the Alliance's job candidates?
No. Recruitment Agencies can not access AllianceQ's pool of job candidates. AllianceQ is an exclusive system of corporations, for corporations. Our members have specifically told us that they do not want recruitment agencies accessing the exclusive job candidate database they have built, because they do not want these job candidates 'sold' back to them by agencies.

No. QuietAgent developed the 'Alliance' idea, and with the help of the Founding Members, has launched AllianceQ. The Alliance members must now govern the direction of the Alliance, to the extent that they have the ability to replace the QuietAgent technology with another vendor, should QuietAgent fail on several material qualifiers. QuietAgent's involvement in the Alliance is now limited to assisting the Alliance solicit new members, and ensuring that the technology meets and exceeds the demands of all AllianceQ members.

Yes. A small revenue share (15%) is paid to AllianceQ members when a job candidate they referred to the Alliance, chooses to accept an interview with an employer that is not an AllianceQ member. Members have the option to return this revenue share back to the Alliance, to fund internal research programs that review and publish statistical information, trends and white papers to assist the recruitment industry as a whole. Most members have indicated they will either return their revenue share to the Alliance, or give any revenue share they may receive to charities, diversity recruitment programs or other internal initiatives.
How does the revenue share actually work?
- AllianceQ members invite job seekers to join the Alliance
- Those job seekers who choose to join are 'tagged' to the member who invited them
- Non-AllianceQ members (employers with fewer than 5,000 employees), use QuietAgent to find suitable candidates to fill job openings, and may find an AllianceQ job candidate in their search. The employer can then invite that candidate to an interview
- If the candidate agrees to the interview, the employer pays QuietAgent $34.95
- 15 percent of this revenue is paid by QuietAgent to the referring AllianceQ member
